Developed by Piponga Games, Farm Invaders is a browser game that combines addictive gameplay with fantastic power-up abilities. It is available for free to anyone through the new mobile site of SilverGames and there it can be played through a browser on every device imaginable, including iPhone, Android, iPad and PC. 

There are a myriad of features available in this deceptively complex game. Players can collect diamonds for extra points throughout the game, while power-ups for the main character’s weapon of choice, that being a useful canon, drop down from the sky every once in a while, offering the player the ability to upgrade their weapon.
The gameplay starts off rather simple, but becomes much more demanding as you progress through each level and start achieving a higher score. The gamplay is very similar to that of the classic Space Invaders game from years past that remains popular even today. You play as a farmer protecting their crops from the pesky invading black crows that will try everything to damage your crops. You are tasked with destroying these crows as best you can.

The mobile game begins with the player being attached to a one-shot cannon. Rows of crows above the player will drop eggs and swoop down, possibly even hitting the player on their way down and taking one of their 3 lives away. It’s your job to destroy as many of them as possible before they fly off, so as to achieve the highest score through each level. As you progress through each level, the game becomes harder, adding more crows that you will need to eliminate.

While you can earn diamonds and cannon power-ups, the power-ups only last so long. If you are hit, then you will lose the last power-ups you received and will be stuck with a paltry weapon once again. There are 2 available upgrades, a 2-shot and 3-shot cannon, making it much easier to pick off the crows.
The music and sound effects for Farm Invaders add greatly to the fun experience you have when playing this game. The effects are catchy and whimsical, while the sound you hear when you lose a life is both funny and frustrating. Created by Danilov Sound, the background music has an upbeat and hectic feel to it, bolstered by the action going on within the game.
